English teachers say "WHAT"…

Uncategorized

WHAT!!!!!!!!!

Yes, that is absolutely correct, I am an official english teacher! I went in for what I thought would be an interview tonight, and it turned out to be an explanation of what I will be doing. Hired on the spot! Bow-chika-bow-wow…

I could not be happier or more excited!!! This was prayed for, begged and hoped for, I dreamt about this at night… and then it came true! God knew the perfect timing and (I’m sure) the perfect position meant for me. I never believed in the saying, “good things come to those who wait”, but I understand fully as of right now. I am not sure if it was the waiting thing that made it so much sweeter or if it was almost going insane trying to find things to keep my time occupied. None the less, it is here; my prayers (and yours) were answered. Thank God, praise Jesus, hallelujah Almighty!

I will be working 4 days a weeek/22 hours to be exact. The hours might be a little difficult because as Vasilis comes home, I will be leaving. I told him that is was a good excuse to start making date night. Up until now, we haven’t known anything other than spending every waking hour together and we both figure that if we can spend THAT much time together, then it will only get sweeter with our new schedule. I will work Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday – mostly afternoons until late evenings.

I am kinda nervous, really excited, and overall thankful for everything! I wish you could see my face and hear my voice how truly wonderful this opportunity is for me; I see it as a fork in the road, an open door, taking it to the next level, a much needed step!

Without rambling on and on, I think you get the point! Celebrate with me – drink a beer, glass of wine, or some apple juice (whatever you fancy)!!!!

Hip-hip-hooray!!!!!

Praise the Lord, for EVERY good thing comes from above!

PS. I start October 1st.
